Demotown Town Board

The Demotown Town Board consists of four council members all elected to four year terms and a Town Supervisor elected to a two year term. All members work together to represent the town residents to ensure the most efficient and effective operation of the Town of Demotown.

The Town Supervisor is the fiscal officer for the town and develops and monitors the budget while conducting the day to day business of the town government. The Supervisor develops an action plan for the town and presents ideas and suggestions to the Town Board members to move the plan forward.

The Town Board members review monthly bills, comment on, and consider ideas and plans put forward by the Supervisor or other board members and ultimately vote on resolutions brought by the Supervisor or other board members on behalf of the town as a whole.
